It is served at a retreat for cancer patients & caregivers where they can’t get enough of it! It’s been referred to as ‘a comforting back rub in a cup’. It’s super easy to make & keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Soothing Healing Tea (yields 8 cups)
1/3 cup sliced & peeled ginger
10 cups distilled water
3 tablespoons coriander Seeds
4 whole cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves
1 1/2 tablespoons whole cardamom pods
1-3 tablespoons pure maple syrup (depending on your preferred sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a large pot & summer for 30 minutes.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Add a touch of Almond or Coconut Milk. Tea can be served either warm or chilled.
